Chris is a filmmaker who has produced stories of natural history, wildlife, and social documentary all over the world.
He began telling stories with pictures as a travel photographer, capturing images from all seven continents. It was while working in Antarctica (during the 24 hours of dark) that Chris switched mediums and made his first film.
After graduating from the University of Otago's Natural History Filmmaking and Communications Program in Dunedin, New Zealand, Chris began working as Producer/Director for factual television. Programs he has worked on have appeared on Animal Planet, National Geographic, A&E, and the Discovery Channel.
Chris continues to shoot, direct, and edit independent films and photograph around the world. His latest projects have taken him to Antarctic, Tibet, and Borneo.
When not working... he can usually be found outdoors hiking, snowboarding, or surfing.
